Hello guys! finally i have some time to post something. too many task, plus i attended some camping stuff from Rohis Smansa (yes, i wanna be a good person. yes, this is a big of change.) and i still exhausted from it. but, school task waits, especially this english task. actually i already did it on last Monday, until i realized there must be pictures around the article. it's about the most memorable thing that we've ever had. i choose this. happy reading!
It was May
25th, 2011. Me and my friends from Junior High, especially from ASLI (our class
name, stands for Anak Sembilan Lima), had a farewell vacation. We went to
Selangor Beach, one of the beaches in Galang Island. We wear our class shirt,
to show our class identity, so people could recognize us in case if we were
lost. Also, the shirt is nice too.
I had to
wake up on 6 AM to prepare our vacation at that time! I didn’t get my things
ready, because the day before it was also our farewell, but in formal way.
After packing a pair of clothes and LOTS of snacks, I went to my school first,
SMPN 6 Batam with Syarifah Nadhrah, one of my friends who was so nice to give
me a lift. When we’re arrived, we have to separate because she was in another
class.
When the time went 9 AM, me and ASLI
heading to the beach by a bus that already rented before. On the journey, we
had so much fun! We sing, eat, take some pictures, prank some people, even
making funny faces on the window until there was a man scared because ours! We
laugh all the time, until 10 minutes to arrival. If we wanted to go to Selangor
beach, we had to pass through a dangerous road. It took our breath away, and
then we prayed together. Thank God we’re safe.
But as people
say, we have to face the obstacle if we want to get the best. When we’re
arrived at the beach, it was awesome. I never saw the beautiful beach like it
before. It was my first time to go to Selangor beach either. It’s green, clean,
and bright.
The first
thing of our vacation is the opening scene by our class teacher, Madam
Samsilah. She gave us advices (well, actually every time she met us she always
gave at least 2 or 3 advices) which is very touchable. It continued with words
by our chairman, Isnaini Lestari. She always knew what’s going on with 36
people’s minds. And then we had our
lunch together to fill the energy before relaxing.
Finally,
the important thing to do at the day: having fun after pass National Exam.
Mostly we took pictures, like we will never get this vacation thing together
anymore (well, possibly true). I also had the embarrassing moment. When my 2
friends sat on the wood chair, I also wanted to sit on that chair too. But when
I was just press my butt on the chair, it broke! And almost gave my friends heart
attack.
BIG apologize to Fadlan and Risyad. i just can't stand to laugh every time i see this |
After more
than 4 hours with flashes from 5 cameras, we changed our clothes. Then we
continued our journey to the Vietnam Camp. We only got like 15 minutes to go
there. So, we ran to a place, took a picture, then rushing again to our bus. We
did it in 3 places in Camp Vietnam, and 1 place in Barelang Bridge. Can’t you
imagine how exhausting it was?
Anyway, we decided to go to school again because it was already 5 PM. We were exhausted, until Fadlan and Yosua sang together with their heavy voice, which it was hilarious and made us sang together in the bus. From Bruno Mars until Smash, Baby until Jablay. We start to sing aloud the songs with a smile on each other of our faces, until we sang Semua Tentang Kita from Peterpan. We all cry while we’re singing that song, and we stopped. We didn’t let our voice out, just tears and whines.
Maybe the faith said that we
shouldn’t get our tears over. When we arrived in our school, we got more
frustrated, and cried even more. Then, Fadlan had an unexpected idea. He
gathered all the members of ASLI in front of our class room, then we confess
our impress and message in the past a year.
Anticlimax. That was the most depressing time that I’ve ever got.
Suddenly, Madam Samsilah appeared in front of us and gave us some word, with
tears. We never saw her cry, until that day.
We ended
the day with last regards, and took a picture together. Until today, every time
I saw those pictures, don’t ask why I’m crying.
